Tiefengestein is a project started in 2009 by three German guys. One composer a DJ and a Saxophonist. Back in 1998, they first discovered an interest in electronic music. German radio dance shows featuring famous Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre, Moby, Laurent Garnier; later Stephan Bodzin, Mauro Picotto and Gabriel Ananda strongly influenced their musical taste and activity. Soon they started with own experiments behind the turntables or the computer. What sound would a diamond have? or carbon, granite... Tiefengestein tries to give a voice to those elements in nature that do not speak for themselves (e.g. stones). 2011 they released on Tape.tv the Musicvideo RUBIN for the same track which is part of the Edelstein EP.
